We had Tyler enrolled in preschool to help with his speech and it was not getting any better so I took him to an ENT at Primary Childrens Hospital and they did the most horrible test on my poor little guy. While I was holding him, they had to numb his little nose and then they inserted a camera up his nose to watch him while he talked. They discovered that his passageway was not closing all the way and so it was physically impossible for him to make the correct sounds he needed. He had surgery on his palate in November, which required an overnight stay. It was the hardest thing to watch him go through and he is still deathly afraid of doctors. Now come to find out at his last appointment the surgery did not take the way it should have, which means he gets to have another test with the camera up the nose and possibly another surgery. He is such a sweet little boy, I just want things to be okay for him. He starts kindergarten this fall and I worry for him.
Jordan is still my little fixer guy, only he lost the privilege of his tools for a little while because he took apart his whole bike and in the process broke it. He will be 7 next month and will be going into the 2nd grade. He loved his 1st grade teacher and had a blast at school. He got all "4's" this year, which is the equivolent of an A and started to come out of his shell more. He is just finishing up his second year in T-Ball and he is still so much fun to watch! He has been on the reading rampage this summer thanks to our local library. They have a summer reading program where you earn prizes for every 200 minutes you read and the first 200 minutes read was a free fish...boy is mom excited to have 3 beta fish at home..NOT! But it keeps him reading. He is also taking piano lessons and loving it. It is so fun to listen to him play.
Preston is now 10-years-old and quite the young man. I am so proud of him and all that he stands for. He helps so much with his brothers and stands up for his friends. I can only hope and pray he stays this way through his teenage years. For the second year in a row he earned the Academic Achievement Award at school for his grades. He has managed to keep a straight A average. He loves to learn and has a memory like no other. He was involved in basketball and will be doing football again this fall. He is also taking piano with Jordan and like most things he tries he is doing very well and excelling at it. I just cannot believe that he will be starting the 5th grade...they grow up so fast.
Last but not least my little monkey Alex is now 2-years-old and my very WILD child!! I often joke that if he had been born first he would have been an only child! He loves to get into everything, he is sneaky and very fast, but I wouldn't have him any other way. He has such a little personality. He loves to yell back at me when he is in trouble. He gets this serious little look on his face and starts shaking his finger at me and trying to spit out something, it makes me laugh. He is definitely a mommy's boy, which I don't think makes daddy too happy sometimes. He will outgrow me one day and will be daddy's best friend, they have all gone through it.
I love that right now they still think the coolest thing is to have family movie night on Friday night and are still willing to hang out with us. I dread the day they outgrow that. Everyone always talks about the relationship that a dad has with a daughter, but I can say that there is something special about a bond between a mother and her sons. My boys are my life and I love talking to them about everything and love that they feel comfortable to talk to me about anything. They are growing into wonderful young men. I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for entrusting me and allowing me the honor of raising these boys. I am so thankful for eternal families and that they are mine forever!

What's Been Going On..

I guess there is nothing like updating the blog once a month or so...LOL!! I always think I need to post..I need to post, but then I forget! This month has been fun and crazy! Over the 4th we took the kids to the breakfast they do for the Veteran's out here. Of course, grandma and grandpa Anderson went with us. Every year my dad puts on his dress uniform and comes out to our parade, this is the first year we did the breakfast. This year, Preston decided he wanted to wear his Scout uniform so that he could do the proper salute of the flag. It was cute they were getting their breakfast plates side by side and there were reporters from the Salt Lake Tribune at the breakfast. They took some pictures of Preston and his grandpa together and then they asked my dad some questions and got their names and such. And lo and behold they were in the newspaper! Preston was pretty excited and proud..it was cute. After the breakfast we went to the parade and then after that we went over to the park for the Tooele Festivities!! They played some games and lucky us Preston won an African Dwarf frog. The frog now lives with the goldfish! We barbequed that night and then we did fireworks. Jordan had invited MJ and Margie over. They are some of our neighbors. It was a lot of fun! We just relaxed at home this year and the kids loved it.
This month also brings us Tyler and Jordan's birthdays. On Saturday the 11th we did a family party for the both of them. The night before Tyler slept over at his Aunt Carrie's and Jordan at his cousin Steph's. When I called to wish Tyler a happy birthday because the 11th is his actual birthday he kept telling me it wasn't his birthday and he was not 4! I tried to tell him it was, but he informed me it wasn't because his party was at night and that was when he would be 4. After having breakfast with a birthday candle he then changed his mind and decided it could now be his birthday...what a nut!
Jordan will be 6 on the 16th. Where does the time go? They grow up fast. We were trying to find out what he wanted for his birthday and I mentioned a Nintendo DS because he is always wanting to play Preston's. At first he was good with that and then he decided that instead of a DS he wanted his OWN toolbox and tools and he informed us they had to be real just like daddy's! So he is getting a toolbox and tools like daddy! He will be so exicted. He loves to take things apart..maybe one day he will learn how to put them back together! I am forever stepping on the covers of the toys that take batteries!
Preston is just finishing up football camp and signs up next week for tackle football again. Let the fun begin. He is excited to go to a football signing for Brian Johnson, the quarterback that played for the University of Utah. I used to work with Brian's girlfriend so she sent an invite and Preston is so excited to meet him! Preston, Jordan, and Wayne went fishing up Settlement Canyon last week just for an afternoon and Preston caught his first fish. He was excited because it was bigger than his dad's! They actually caught three, brought them home and we cooked them for dinner! On Friday the 10th, they went up to Vernon Resevoir and spent the night fishing, and then the camped out in the tent. He had a lot of fun having time with just his dad.
As for the rest of us we just go day by day. I am hoping that Alex will finish getting his teeth soon I can sleep again!! I am counting down the days until school starts. All I hear is how bored they are and they are starting to get tired of each other!
That is all that I have for now. Hope that everyone is enjoying their summer!!

Life..

Life around our house has been crazy! I can't believe that it has been so long since I have posted, what a slacker am I! I hope that I can get everything in that has been going on. The last few months have gone in a hurry, between Preston finishing his flag football season and Jordan starting t-ball and all the school activities that I have volunteered for, but I would not change it for anything! Jordan is loving t-ball and we have had so much fun watching him. I swear he would live in his full uniform if I let him. Preston had a great football season, but has decided that he won't do flag football again. He is going to stick with tackle. I have to agree that once you have watched the little guys play tackle, it really is kind-of boring to watch flag football (is that bad to say since my son was playing?). So as of now he is enrolled for his football camp for the summer and next week will be getting signed up for the official season! Tyler is still my mischievous one, but he makes me laugh so hard. He found the little easter bucket that the Easter Bunny left for baby Alex. It is blue with little ducks and eggs on it, but Tyler has decided that it is his hat. He wears it while riding his bike or around the house! He would wear it to the store if I let him. He has also discovered that the canteen cover that his grandma and grandpa got him works very well as his "man bag" as we call it. He carries his "cell phone" in it. Cracks me up. I don't think my husband is too fond of the "man bag," but what do you do? Some fights are not worth picking! He also just finished his first year of preschool, I can't believe he will be 4 this year. Where does the time go?
My little Alex turned 1 on May 1st and he is starting to walk all over like crazy!! He is so tiny, he looks like a 6-month-old trying to walk. He is by far my good-natured baby. He loves to smile and when he gets laughing everyone joins in. He is starting to mimick everything you do. He loves to blow kisses, eat, and just watch his brothers. One of Tyler's favorite sayings is when you ask him what he is doing and he will always answer, nothing. Alex has picked up on that and you can ask Alex what you doing and he will try to get out the word nothing...amazingly enough it sounds pretty good.
May has been busy. I helped with the kindergarten field day, which was a blast! They had stories and popsicles, they did bubbles, twister, horseshoes, the parachute, and sidewalk chalk. It was fun to see all my little friends having such a good time.
May 29th brought a bittersweet time. Jordan graduated from kindergarten! They had a little program with all the classes and then they got to walk the walk and the principal handed them out little diploma's. It was so cute, but of course I was crying (those darn allergies..LOL)!! He is very excited to start 1st grade. He has come so far. He is my little bookworm. He is reading on almost a second grade level. I took him to sign up for the summer library program and the whole time he had his nose in his little chapter book just reading, even one of the library workers commented on how impressed she was that at 5 he could read that well. I have always stressed the love for books and importance of reading to my boys. Preston is a great reader too!! If you can read, you can do anything!
Yesterday, June 2nd, I went over and helped with the school field day. Wow, I was exhausted. The night before I spent the night filling 200 water balloons..talk about sore fingers and I came home from the school soaked. The kids had a lot of fun, I think I was more exhausted than they were. I am glad the weather held out until the end. It started to rain as the firetruck pulled up to spray them..guess mother nature didn't want the firemen to have all the fun. Despite the rain, the kids still wanted to be sprayed. Talk about wet kids!
Preston's last day of the 3rd grade is today. I am so proud of how well he has done. He is a very hard worker and loves school. He loves to learn and this year he has really developed his talent for drawing and his love of science. He is a terrific kid with a big heart. He is already telling me what kind of car he is saving for..he can't ever turn 16, can he?
As for me and Wayne we are great. Wayne has been working hard, helping with coaching t-ball, has been working on the backyard so that we can get it done this year and makes time for the kids. He is a wonderful example to them and I appreciate all he does for me and our kids. I am going to start being a consultant for Lia Sophia Jewelry. I am excited..more for the discount than anything! I think it will help me to get out of my comfort zone a little and their jewelry is great! I am in the process of trying to get my five parties booked..life is never dull around here.
Last, but not least I am dedicating the new look to my page to my boys and to the fun that summer brings! I always tell them, if you don't come in dirty then you haven't had fun! My goal is to try to be more consistent with my postings and stories!! I hope that everyone has a great summer ahead!

Too Long..

I have been a slacker and haven't done much for this past month. It has been a busy month. Preston turned 9 on the 21st and I have to say that he is becoming quite the little man. I am so going to have trouble when he is a teenager. Our school did a cookie dough fundraiser and when I picked ours up I decided to wait and give the kids a ride home. Well, school got out and they came out and Preston handed me his scooter and took off. I had no idea where he had gone, but a few minutes later he came back over to me and told me that he noticed a little girl in his class was having trouble carrying her cookie dough (it was heavy) and so he went over and carried it for her up to where her mom was waiting. I just looked at him and thought to myself you are becoming quite the little gentleman and I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for sending this little guy into my life. He is such a sweet boy. There are not too many 9-year-old's that would have offered to do that let alone think about it. Maybe I am doing something right!
Jordan is still my little shy guy and loves to read. He is now reading at a 1st grade level and just keeps going. He loves to go to the library. I have always tried to instill a love for reading in my boys..because if they can read they can do anything. Preston is a great reader too, but Jordan just has a love for it. My favorite is first thing in the morning when he hears the baby wake up he runs in with a handful of books, climbs into the crib with Alex and you can hear him reading to his little brother...melts my heart! He has had a little girlfriend at school, who we just discovered lives down the street from us, so I now have two little girls coming over all the time for Jordan..what is with my boys?? He has decided that he and Tyler are going to have their birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese and while the kids play the old people can sit and relax..where does he come up with these things?
Tyler, is still my spunky one. He loves to tease his brothers. I am way excited that he is potty trained..so nice!! He just loves to ham it up for everyone and always has this little hint of trouble in his eyes. He is still loving preschool and riding the bus to school. He is also planning his birthday, which is not until July. He keeps telling me that he wants a Chuck-E-Cheese party and a Chuck-E-Cheese cake. He is also starting to go to his sunbeam class without screaming!!
As for my little Alex, he is 11-months-old today!! Time goes by fast. He is getting braver at standing by himself and I have a feeling will be trying to walk soon...although I am okay with him still crawling =) His first tooth has finally cut through...we can finally feel it. He has been my latest teether. He loves to laugh and has the most infectious little laugh. He also loves the prom song from Twilight...nothing liking warping them when they are babies!!
As for Wayne and myself we are good. Just keeping up with all the activities of little boys. Preston is doing flag football again so that he stays in practice for tackle, which is in fall. We are just waiting to hear from Jordan's t-ball coach, that should be starting in a few weeks. Wayne is still loving being able to work out here and does not miss the drive into Salt Lake everyday!! I keep busy with work, PTA, and just chasing my kids around..but I would not trade one moment even on the days when the boys have their moments!!

Experiment...

So this experiment should be interesting. Our Relief Society birthday celebration is on Tuesday. They decided to have people sign up to make cakes, which will be used as the table decorations and then be used as dessert. For those of you who don't know..I am not a baker, but I decided I should sign up. I am trying to participate more (being in primary they tend to forget us!!). I have been experimenting today with what to do. I have decided that since the party is on St. Patrick's Day..I am going to make a four-leaf clover cake. I made a yellow cake with a slight hint of lemon in it (and yes, I made it from scratch..please don't fall over)...then I took and sliced the cake into two and I am going to put on a raspberry filling..also made from scratch. I am then going to frost it and serve it to my family tonight...they are going to be my taste testers! When all is said and done, I will post a picture of my finished product. This should be interesting!
I have actually had a lot of fun doing it, but I am afraid that my kids and husband will want cakes this way all the time..LOL!!
On a different note, this weekend has been interesting. On Friday Tyler had to go in and get his teeth fixed that he had chipped. They had to put white caps on them so that they wouldn't chip away...being so little and not wanting him to feel anything, it required IV sedation...NOT FUN!! They told me that he would probably sleep most of the day..not the case. The poor little guy was miserable and just before bedtime his mouth started to un-numb and so his mouth hurt. He finally let us get some Motrin in him and did fine that night. On Saturday he woke up good to go and his little teeth look great! I am hoping he doesn't remember the experience too much because he is going to freak out when I have to take him to the dentist for his checkup. We spend the day Saturday shopping for birthday presents..for my niece Kailee and for Preston. Preston will be 9 on the 21st. I cannot believe how fast he is growing up and he is becoming quite the little man. He has his moments, but overall he is a great kid. He is so considerate of others and loves to be a good example. We were talking about the priesthood today and he has decided that when the time comes he wants to be the one to baptize his baby brother..Alex. Those two have a very special bond, it is cute. Alex loves Preston and Preston just has a way with him. I am so proud of my little guys!!

Memories...

Today has been a hard day...so many memories have come flooding back. It was a year ago today that my very best-friend passed away and even though I know I will see her again, it still hurts. It just seems unfair that someone so young with two little boys had to leave this earth so early. I know she had a greater mission to accomplish, but on the selfish side I feel a little cheated. She got me through so many things and helped me get where I am today and who I have become. I will forever miss Michelle..my "Gertrude." She could always make me laugh. We did some crazy things together and I am grateful to my Heavenly Father for sending her to my life when he did, she was my lifesaver, and for the time that I had with her. I am also so grateful that she waited until I could make it to Idaho to say good-bye. It was good to be able to have that.
In a blessing I was told I would have guardian angels...I know I have many including Michelle. Her spirit stays strong with me.
I miss you Michelle, but I will see you again one day.

My Little Adult 5-year-old!!

Jordan says the craziest things and has the most random conversations with me and I can't tell you how much I love it!! The other day after Tyler had gone to school we were chatting and he wanted to know where I went on my mission..I explained to him that I chose to stay home and get married. He just looked at me and said, "Dad went on a mission and got married too," oh the cute little stink. That got is in a discussion about the ages that girls and boys go on missions. Then he informed me that he wants to go to the jungle on his mission or maybe Chinese...=-D I told him I wish they would go to maybe Idaho and the I could just go follow them around secretly..LOL!! He then wanted to know about the priesthood, more specifically the Aaronic priesthood..at least I know he is listening in primary!!
He just makes me laugh and he always wants to have these serious little chats.
Preston just ended basketball so I have a breather from sports for a month or so. Then Preston will start flag football again (he says it will help him when he plays tackle again) and Jordan will be starting T-Ball, now the fun begins of juggling practices and games...can't wait until all four are playing or doing something ;-)
Tyler is my same little crazy boy. He is by far a mommy's boy. He sticks to me like glue and yes, I do love it even when I am trying to get things done. His favorite thing to do now is play on the computer. He loves to play on the Playhouse Disney website and the Nick Jr website, only he calls them his dot.com games. He will just run up and say "I wan't to play dot.com," makes me laugh!
And my little Alex will be 10 months on the 1st..time flies. He is pulling himself up on the furniture and tables and cruising around. He is going to be little like Jordan. He only weighs 15 pounds, but at least he is on the chart. Jordan didn't make it on the chart until he was around 2 or so. My kids seem to go every other one. They are born big babies and then they just taper off. Preston and Tyler are a little above for their ages and Jordan and Alex are just little!
Life is going good around the Berry house. Things have slowed down a little with no sports schedules. Wayne has been working on the bathroom in the basement. The shower is up and next he is going to put in the toilet...I am so excited that the boys will have their own bathroom..YAY!!
Next we are going to start clearing an area for our garden and that has to get done this year or Jordan will be heartbroken. He already has the list of what we are going to plant, including hot dogs..LOL...that idea was planted by his grandpa and he is now determined that we are going to plant hot dogs! That is all the updates that I have for now!

Updates...

It has been awhile since I have posted and I have a few things to share. I have added a couple pictures, the first is of me and Alex. It was the cutest thing..he is very much into food these days and LOVES Ritz crackers. He was eating one while I was holding him and his little hands were getting very messy so I decided to wipe them, he thought I was going to take his cracker so he shoved the whole thing in his little mouth. He wouldn't give it up! Good thing they mush up pretty easy!!
The second picture is of Jordan and Tyler just hanging out in the entertainment center. The story starts back on Friday. I was trying to get the house straightened because Tyler and Jordan were going to spend the night and Carrie's house and at Fuffy's house. I had a babysitter coming to watch Preston and Alex while Wayne and I went out to dinner with some friends (it was the first time I have left them with someone other than family). Of course, things were crazy and then our t.v. died. I thought not today, not when I need Preston to have something to do while the sitter is here. Well, Preston and Jordan had gotten a little flat screen for Christmas and so I brought that up for the night. Saturday I went out with some girlfriend's and Wayne took the boys to pick out a new t.v. It was late when we all got home from Salt Lake so after church today he decided to mount it on the wall. We cleaned out the entertainment center and that is when Jordan and Tyler discovered how much they love to just sit and chill in there together. It was too funny!! They will be sad when it goes to the DI tomorrow =-))
On a good note, Preston and Alex did fine with the babysitter. Preston decided they had a lot in common, I think he has a little crush!! He is such a great 8-year-old, I guess Alex woke up from his nap and Preston went in and got him and changed him before the babysitter even knew. He was pretty proud of himself because it was a poopy diaper! What a great brother!!!
We have been busy with getting all the family over being sick and Preston's basketball games. He is doing so great! It is so fun to watch him play. I am pretty excited for spring. We are signing Jordan up for T-ball next week and that should just be plain entertaining to watch. He will look so cute in his little uniform! I am totally excited.
My baby turned 9 months old on the 1st, where does the time go. He is crawling all over, pulling himself up on things and saying mama and dada...they grow so fast! He absolutely loves his big brother Preston, sometimes he would rather have Preston hold him than me or Wayne! It is pretty cute.
I am so proud of my little Tyler, he is finally starting to go potty and is wearing underwear. It is still a struggle, but he has been doing really good! I can't say how excited I am for that, he has by far been the most stubborn one. He is such a determined little guy to have things his way. He has a stubborn streak that doesn't quit!!
Wayne is keeping busy with work and still loves working out here. That is all the updates I have for now. I will try to be better at posting.

Preston

Is such a crack up and such a great kid. The other night I went to the store and bought everything they needed for their emergency kits for school. They brought home a bag for water, hard candy, band-aids, wipes, a note of comfort, etc. so I put the bags together and sent them to school. Well, he came home that afternoon and was eating a handful of his Jolly Ranchers. I asked him if they were from his emergency kit and he said yes. I told him he was supposed to save those in case they ever had an emergency at the school and he looked at me and said it was an emergency, I was hungry! All I could do was laugh!!
He is such a great kid, I was trying to embarrass him a little when I dropped him off at Scout's the other night by holding his hand when he walked in the church, but he just laughed and said I don't care if you hold my hand mom, it dosen't bother me...I know that will change one day, but it so made my heart melt!! I will admit that we butt heads a lot, but I am so proud of him and the young man he is becoming. He is a great blessing to our family and I couldn't imagine not having him with us! He teaches me something everyday.

Jordan..

Last night I needed to run to the library and Jordan wanted to come with me. He loves the library!! So we headed out, got to the library got our books. I let him play for a little bit in the play area and then we headed for home. He tells me in the car that he likes going to the library with just me and him =-) I told him it was kind-of like having a mommy and Jordan date, so he says yeah, but next time we need to leave early and stop and get drinks and then finish the date..LOL!! The things he comes up with cracks me up.
We continue on our way home and he proceeds to tell me that when Fuffy (my niece Steph who used to watch them) used to live with him, Preston, and Tyler she just made them watch The Fairly Odd Parents all the time and she broke all the glasses and that is why at her apartment she has to have plastic cups. I have no idea what brought up that conversation, but it was hilarious because he was dead serious about the whole thing!!
Watching him in his kindergarten class is a crack up. He is extremely shy and quiet, but the little girls love him especially Sassy! While I was there helping she would run up and whisper things in his ear and when it was time to go to the rug she would hold his hand while they walked over...it starts early!! I asked him what Sassy was whispering in his ear and he just looked at me and said I don't know, I can't remember..BOYS!!
I love that he is my tag-a-long still. He loves to go shopping with me and loves to curl up next to me and talk about things. I love it!!

The Fun Never Stops..

At our house. The other day Wayne had come home for lunch and we were in the kitchen when I heard Tyler fall and hit the table in the other room. I never saw what happened and assumed he had hit his head. I looked and he seemed okay and was acting fine. Later that night he said his ear hurt and when I looked at it, it was swollen and purple and looked gross. I found out it was bruised and that his ear must have cushioned his fall. The picture I am posting is a little blurry, but you can see some of his poor little ear!

He hasn't been the only one with falls this month. On New Years Day, I went to the store and when I got home Wayne told me that Preston had accidentally left the door to the basement open and Alex fell down the basement stairs. He is okay and officially all of my boys have been down those stairs. It is hard to remember that now that he is mobile we have to keep all doors shut! He is a fast little guy, especially when there is something in sight that he wants!! He loves to try to clean the floors for me. But my favorite is the fact that he now crawls around and says mama..LOVE IT!!
Preston has started basketball so now our Saturday's are filled with basketball, this spring should be fun with Jordan starting T-Ball and Preston doing football..wow, can't wait until all four are involved in sports, I get tired just thinking about it!!
Tyler is doing much better since his tubes. He is trying to sound out his words more and is starting to pronounce a little more, we are excited about that! And it has been nice not taking the baby into the doctor for an infection..YAY!!
Jordan just keeps cracking us up. He has put in his order for his birthday. He wants his own big toolbox (like daddies) with his own tools so he can fix things. He has really been into fixing everything with tape. I sat down to type one day to find that the kitchen chairs had all been taped together =-) For Christmas Wayne got a remote control Mustang and the fin broke, so Jordan fixed it for him..with tape. I have had to hide the tape or else I won't have any when it comes time to wrap something! He just makes me laugh, he is so much like his daddy, it is too cute!

A Mom's Job..

Is to embarrass her kids from time to time and I have a few stories that will do the trick..LOL!! So the other night Preston was getting ready for bed, he and Wayne read stories and he went to sleep. All of a sudden I heard him yelling for Jordan and then he came running upstairs, keep in mind he is literally asleep and had no idea what he was doing, and he asked me where Jordy was. I said he is asleep why and Preston said because they were playing hide and seek and he couldn't find him, then he just went back downstairs and went to sleep. It was the funniest thing ever. When I asked him about it the next morning he didn't remember it at all, he is such a crazy kid, but he makes me laugh.
Jordan has just started getting into telling me about his dreams and the other morning he came to me and asked if he could tell me about his dream..I said of course and then he proceeded to explain to me that he had a dream where all six members of our family got new beds. He told me how comfortable they were and then he told me what they were made of. They were made out of Lincoln Logs...yeah I would have to say not so comfortable to those..LOL!!
Tyler has this new thing where whatever you say to him he looks at you and says why not?? Makes me laugh. He was telling Wayne the other day that the boots he found were his daddy's. I was trying to help him pronounce the word yours and he looked at me serious and said they aren't mine, they are daddy's. He thought I was telling him the boots were his! Other than that it has been pretty uneventful at our house. Preston just started basketball season so that will keep us busy until the end of February and then football will start again and Jordan will be signing up for T-ball...the running never stops!!
I am glad that school is back in..YAY!! I thought the last couple days of vacation there was going to be some blood shed between the boys. They were starting to get to each other. Now when Jordan and Preston are at school, Tyler says all day I miss them or Jordan and Preston are missing. Then the poor boys get smothered with kisses all night when they get home. Tyler has been big into giving loves to his brothers and the brothers are starting to get a little annoyed!! It is quite funny. Well I guess that is all I have for now. I hope everyone had a great New Year's. We stayed up playing games and did some fireworks. It was a lot of fun!!

Merry Christmas..

Well Christmas is done and over and as much as I love the season I am glad it is done. The kids had a great Christmas, as far as I could tell. Preston got his remote control Teraniac, an Ipod, and Magnex iCoaster...from Santa. Jordan got the Handy Manny truck, Lego City Police set, and a Dijdi game system...from Santa. Tyler got the Handy Manny truck, some legos, Thomas the trains..from Santa. Preston and Jordan got a flat screen t.v. for their room from us (mom and dad) so that they can play their PS2 without Tyler crying to watch Diego or Scooby Doo!! They got remote control cars from their aunt...a mustang and two police cars so they have fun with the police cars chasing the mustang around. We have stayed home most of the week between the tubes in ears and the horrible weather. We finally made it up to my parents today to visit and ended up visiting with my brothers Shawn and Lonny and their families and then Carrie and Fuffy came over and we visited with them and their family. The boys were getting so tired we headed for home and now they are once again chasing each other with the remote control cars and the Handy Manny truck..LOL!! Tyler cracks me up because he got a toy guitar from his brothers and he runs around pretending to play and says he is a rockstar, it is way cute. I am ready for things to calm down a little, but it has been fun watching them play with each other. Tyler still thinks that everything is his, but Preston and Jordan are a lot better this year and have spent most of their time building Jordan's Lego City..the thing is huge. I hope that everyone has had a great Christmas and has a wonderful New Year!!

Yesterday's Adventures

Well, yesterday was the big day. Both Tyler and Alex went in at 6:30 a.m. to have tubes. It was quite entertaining, they gave Tyler a sedative before he went back so that he wouldn't be too traumatized. It kicked in fast and he was so loopy!! They came in and put a surgical cap on him and while I was in recovery with Alex I could hear everyone laughing. Wayne came in and told me that Tyler had pulled the cap down over his eyes and then he couldn't figure out how to get it back up on his head and the whole time he was just giggling. When they were both ready to go home they told me that Tyler was pretty sedated and would sleep a lot of the day..boy were they wrong! We got home and he did rest for a few minutes and then he was up and bouncing all over. It was Alex who slept most of the day. I think Tyler was just so excited because Aunt Carrie was bringing him some Thomas the Trains. She got here with the other boys and the trains and he played and played and then finally about 4:50 p.m. he just fell asleep, which happened to be on the floor with his trains. It was too cute not to get a picture so here it is! I am glad that it is over and they are doing great.

Slacker...

Once again I have been a slacker, but the last couple of weeks have been crazy!! So to start with I really love this time of year, but I have also been missing and thinking about Michelle a lot. Some days it just hits pretty hard that I can't just talk to her or send her a silly card and on one of these days I came across a couple of pictures that made my day and one of her little presents to me that used to sit on my desk at Garff's.
The first picture that I am posting is a picture of me, Wayne, and Michelle outside of the Jordan River Temple the day that Michelle took out her endowments before leaving on her mission. I never exactly told her how proud I was of her decision to go, but this is one of my favorite pictures of us..

The second picture that I am posting is a picture of this little dinosaur in his egg and he is making a face and sticking out his tongue! She had put this on my desk one day at work so that when she couldn't be there to make faces at me I would have something to remind me that she was still making faces at me, if that makes sense! It now sits on my computer desk to always remind me that she is probably still making faces at me!!

This last picture is a totally different subject, but Tyler had just gotten over the flu and then he came down with strep. I took him to the doctors and they said they could either start him on an antibiotic that he would take for 10 days or he could get the one time shot that would stay in his system for awhile. Being the mean mom that I am (as my loving sister calls me) I decided to get him the shot so that when he gets his tubes on Monday he didn't have to worry about medicines on top of it. Well little did I know that the shot was in the behind. The poor little guy was miserable and didn't sleep well that night because he was sore. On Tuesday Wayne stayed home to finish up framing in the basement and Tyler was watching a movie and we came up and he was sound asleep across the arm of the couch with is head on the end table. I guess it was less sore for his little behind..it was too cute not to snap a picture so here it is....

Well as I mentioned above Tyler gets to get tubes in his ears on Monday to help with his speech. The ENT determinded that he is hearing muffled so he is speaking as he hears. Hopefully this will help him! Not only does Tyler get tubes, but little Alex gets them to. He has had three ear infections in three months...time to stop that! So Monday will be such a fun day, but at least they will both have it over with!

Jordan had a little kindergarten Christmas program today and he was so cute, he even sang!! But what cracked me up was getting him ready for the program. He usually goes in the afternoon, but the program was in the morning, so he got up and started to get ready. He brushed his teeth, took off his shirt and then decided that before putting on the new shirt he picked out, because the dress shirts he had wouldn't work, that he needed deodorant. What 5-year-old puts on deodorant...mine!! So he went in the bathroom and did that, then he came out and proceeded to get dressed. He looked so handsome. I thought we were ready when he told me that he needed cologne because daddy said he could have one spray. So in he went and sprayed on one spray of daddy's cologne. I later discovered that his "girlfriend" told him he smelled good so now he puts on one spray everyday..I thought this didn't start until the teeanage years!! He just makes me laugh.

Preston is getting ready for basketball to start and is so ready. He has been such a help to his dad while Wayne has been finishing the basement. He goes down there and helps put the walls up and move the things that needs to be moved. He is such a character at times. I couldn't imagine not having him here. It is amazing how much his brothers love and look up to him, when he is being nice to them, it is so cute! I love to listen to him explain how to do things to his brothers. He is a great kid.

And as for Alex, he has just learned how to do the army crawl so he is all over the place now and if there is something he really wants, watch out..he is fast!! He also loves to grab food out of your hands or try to grab your plate. He definitely loves his food!!

That is all of our news for now. We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas this year and enjoys the spirit of Christmas!!

So Proud..

Of my little monkies. This year as a family we decided that instead of exchanging presents among the cousins we would do a sub for santa for one of our Utah military families that were in need of help this year. We wanted to teach the kids what Christmas is really about. I thought they would put up a slight fight about not getting presents, but they didn't mind in the least. In fact, they are so excited to pick out toys for kids that need them. They are also excited to drop them off to the National Guard..they think that is really cool! It's really cute. I am so proud of my little guys, they are really sweet boys.
My favorite story is when Preston was in the 1st grade and he had found $10. A couple days later I asked what he wanted to get with it and he told me that he had given it to a boy at school. This certain boy was in a wheelchair and didn't have much, so Preston gave him the $10. He did this all on his own..He is so much like his dad! He has a big heart and I hope he never loses that quality!
Merry Christmas everyone!! Don't forget to remember the true meaning of the season in all the busy times of life!!
We love everyone.

Sorry they are a little blurry, but here are the Christmas pictures we had done of the boys!!

Random..

Wow, it has been awhile since I have posted! It has been eventful at our house. Tyler and myself woke up on Wednesday both with the flu =-(.. Poor little guy didn't quite know what to make of the flu..it is really the first time he has been sick like that. My wonderful husband took the day off to take care of us..I haven't been that sick in awhile! He was fine mid afternoon and I was finally feeling better early evening. That night Jordan got it..he stayed home with me Thursday.
On Saturday afternoon I took the boys in to get all their pictures done for Christmas cards..we decided to be good this year and actually send out a picture. I now remember why they don't get their picture taken alltogether!! To get them to all look at the camera and smile was insane! In one shoot they were sitting on a sled and Tyler was so irritated because he had to have Alex propped in his lap, he kept saying "I done, get him off" We managed to get a few cute shots! I will post them in the morning. My sister met at the studio as Wayne decided he was coming down with the flu Saturday afternoon. My sister took the kids to her house so Wayne could have some quiet..I must say I love my sister!!
Saturday night (the 6th of December) I took the baby down to the doctor and he has another double ear infection, which means we are off to see the ENT for tubes..knew that was coming. I hated the visit to the doctor this time, they decided rather than putting him on an oral antibiotic we would go with Rociphen shot, I hate that antibiotic...it burns their poor little legs. Oh joy for us we get to take him back Sunday and Monday for the same shot.
At least in between all this we did get our Christmas decorations up and now Jordan thinks his bed is under the tree...I don't know where he gets his weird sleeping habits from, but ya gotta love him. Tyler loves to run around the house saying, "Ho, Ho, Ho Christmas" or whenever we go somewhere and he sees lights or a Santa he yells, "Mom, Christmas!"
And then there is Preston...by far a great help. He is too cute with his little brothers. For being 8-years-old he can really take care of a baby and it comes so natural to him. Saturday morning when Alex woke up it was Preston who wanted to go in and get him, so he did. He then proceeded to change Alex's diaper, which he has done but he realized that it is now like trying to rope a calf..the boy rolls and you have to literally hold him down with arm while trying to put the diaper on..LOL!! It was too cute watching Preston try and do this..I did help him. He now loves to make bottles and rock the baby. Some days I don't know what I would do without him. He is becoming so much like his dad..he is turning into quite the young man.
I suppose I should head off to bed before Alex decides to wake up, but I will get pictures posted in the morning, at least that is my goal!
Night everyone..

Thanksgiving..

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! I hope everyone's day went well. Ours was eventful and went well. We started out the morning with Wayne making rolls for his family Thanksgiving, which we headed to at 2:00 p.m. We ate, visited with family. It was great, there were a lot of family members that came who we haven't seen in a awhile. Wayne's sister Judy and niece Misti came, but the biggest surprise for the family was when Teresa, Bobby, RJ, Donna, and Kenzie showed up from Wyoming..YAY!! There were just a few that knew they were coming. It was a blast. Tyler and Kenzie were cracking us up, they would poke each other and just say ha, ha...random, but funny!! At about 4:30 ish we headed to my family's for their dinner. We went to Carrie's and my brother Lonny and his family were there, as well as, Steph and her family, my parents and Carrie and her family. It was fun. We decided that for Christmas this year instead of the cousins exchanging gifts we are going to find a family of a fallen solider and do Christmas for them. We are excited about that!!
That night Preston and Jordan slept over at Steph and Cory's. In the morning when I called I felt so bad, apparently Preston had been throwing up. I told Steph she should have called and I would have come got him, but she didn't even know. I guess Cory just took care of him. Preston said it was because he ate too much, but after he got home that afternoon he slept a lot and when he woke up he had a fever of 102.0 degrees, I am guessing he just wasn't feeling well. At least it only lasted the day. He seems to be fine today.
Today is going to be fun...we are cleaning the carpets and putting up the Christmas tree..YAY!! Yesterday morning Tyler and I frosted the windows with snow. It was cute he just runs around and looks at the window and says, "My Christmas!" What a little turkey. Well my little peeps that is all we have for now. I am sure I will have more at a later time!
Happy Holidays Everyone.

Awhile..

It has been awhile since I have posted something...I am slacking, must correct my ways. This week has been crazy. Preston has been sick. I have been putting together a food drive for the school and Wayne finished the swingset/playset..YAY!! That means he can start on our other project...the downstairs bathroom, which he is so excited about!
So Jordan is obsessed with being a fireman and my sister went to New York and brought him and Tyler back these little firetrucks that say NYFD on them and make noise. He loves it so much that he fell alseep with it last night. I tried to move it because it looked like it was hurting him, but he clung to that little truck and wasn't about to give it up..it was cute!
Tyler just likes teasing Jordan and tries to take his truck, even though they both have basically the same truck..he is such a tease. The other night he was chasing Jordan around the living room trying to give him a kiss, which he knew Jordan didn't want. Finally, Jordan climbed on the couch next to Wayne and Tyler ran up kissed his cheek and then said..ha ha!! It was too funny. The things kids do.
Preston is in the process of getting ready for basketball to start. He is excited about that. He is getting so big...I took him to look at basketball shoes the other night and as he stood by me I realized that in a few years he will be taller than me..where does the time go?
Alex is in the process of teething and has not been too happy the last few days. I don't like this stage..LOL!! He loves to roll around and is now trying to scoot on his stomach everywhere..he is a little turkey. What he wants is to be running with his brothers...oh what fun!!
Well, that is all I have for now. Hopefully, I will remember to be better about posting and not waiting so long.

Busy..

This week has been crazy busy. I spent the week typing and doing PTA stuff. We had the winner of our boxtop contest at the school and threw them a pizza party on Friday. We had parent teacher conference on Wednesday and just before we left Preston ended up spraining his ankle. He went with us to the conference, but on Thursday he woke up really sore, I took him to the doctor and then he had to go over for x-rays. Luckily he did not break it anywhere, just a really bad sprain. Friday night Damien and Suzi came out and spent the night. The kids had a blast and they were all really good.
Saturday morning my dad came out and he and Wayne got started on the playground. We are hoping to have it done before it snows!! It was cute as soon as grandpa got here all the kids wanted to be out helping too. Tyler stuck to grandpa's side all day and night. Steph and Cory came to get the kids and Cory helped out on the playground. Steph and I went down and I got Preston signed up for basketball. We came back and got lunch ready for the kids and then Steph, Suzi and Alex were in the living room on the couch, when all of a sudden I heard Steph yell to me to get Cory. Suzi had fallen off the couch and hit our coffee table and was bleeding. She hit her nose pretty good. It wouldn't stop bleeding so they took her down to our pediatrician's office to have it looked at. The doctor said it looked like it could be broken, but they had to wait for the radiologist to get in to look at it. They came and got Damien and went home, the kids had a long day.
Wayne, my dad, and the boys worked on the playground until about 6 p.m. or so and then we went to dinner. They got a lot done on the set!! As soon as they got the slide up, the kids were out there playing and have been out there this morning playing. Basically the only thing left is to get the tunnel up and the swings..YAY!! It was a busy week, but productive.

What a week..

This has been a busy week with Halloween and playoff games! I spent most of the week getting ready for Preston's class Halloween Party as I was in charge! We picked all the games, made cookies, which I learned is a no-no, and spent the afternoon before Halloween decorating the class. We took some dry ice and put in the rootbeer for a witch's brew..the kids thought that was neat. We played a Halloween Bingo game, a game called wrap the mummy where we had four teams and each team had a "mummy" who they had to wrap using a roll of toilet paper and the first team to use all of their toilet paper won! Then we had them sit down and had treats and did a Halloween Mad Lib. It went well and I think the kids had fun, I was exhausted, but after that we came home and got ready to go trick or treating. Preston and Wayne went trick or treating with the football team and I took Jordan and Tyler to the trunk or treat at the church, which was plenty for them!!
Saturday morning we got up and headed to our first playoff game against Bingham, who is undefeated. We did end up losing 19-0, but the Bingham coaches said we were the first team to hold them the whole second half with no scoring. Our little guys did their best and we are so proud of them. Our team is the first Tooele Youth team to make it to the playoffs in eight years and we are the youngest team to ever go, so they were pretty excited about that! They ended up winning their last five games in a row. After the game the Bingham coaches told them that they would see us next year in the playoff's so I think that cheered them up a little. Now they get to have a massive party and participate in something called borderwars. It is an optional game put on by Jamaal Wallace, who used to play for the 49ers. It is where teams from Wyoming, St. George, Idaho, and Provo will play against each other and they will be able to play at the new Salt Lake Real field..they are pretty excited to be able to play on a real field!
I am a bit exhausted, but so excited for team and how well they did!! It was a good experience for Preston and although it was rough at first when they had him switching positions, he ended up really enjoying himself after being put in one defense position. I am hoping that he will at least try again, but if not this has been a fun run and so much fun to watch!!

Another Saturday...

And another football game done! We played Riverton today and we won 28-7, which means we are headed to the playoff's next weekend. We play Bingham and if we win that game we are headed to State. If we don't then we are going to participate in what are called Borderwars. We will play teams from Wyoming, St. George, Idaho, and I believe Provo. The cool thing is they get to play on the new Salt Lake Real Soccer field, so in a real live stadium. The boys are totally excited about that! They have done so great this year and as tiring as it gets it has been so much fun watching! Preston has come a long way and has been doing an awesome job!
After the game my niece and her family came out and worked on the playground. It is coming along..if we only had more days in the week!! Wayne and the boys are headed to the Haunted Woods tonight, Tyler fell asleep so I stayed home with him and Alex. I hope they have fun!! Tomorrow is their primary program and that is always fun. We are praying that our class will sit still!! We have some pretty free spirited kids..LOL!!
We are also looking forward to a break from school. The kids are out Monday and Tuesday so we are going to plan the Halloween Party for Preston's class and get some games together, should be interesting and fun.
I spent all night last night and some of the day today counting box tops from our contest. The school did awesome and I ended up counting over 6,000 box tops (not all at once)!!! The class that collected the most won a pizza party. They went gung ho. We earned quite a bit of money for the school. It has been fun being able to be part of the PTA a little more, although I still can't believe I am a PTA mom! Well that about catches things up on this end!

Aaahhh..

On Monday night Tyler laid down and said his ear hurt and then he started running a fever. Oh joy, he has another ear infection. He is back on his antibiotics and if he gets two more this year then it is tubes for him..knew it was a matter of time since all the kids have had tubes and Wayne and I both had tubes. I feel sorry for the little guy. He is doing better this morning and is so excited for the school bus to come and get him. I am so glad that the likes the new preschool and does just fine going on the bus. He is usually outside watching for the bus 5 minutes before it gets here and everytime it comes around the corner he gets so excited. I think Jordan gets just as excited. He waits out there with us and pulls up a little chair at the end of the driveway and just sits and watches until the bus is out of sight with Tyler on it. Those two can fight but they can also be the best of friends and when they are it is too cute.

Weekend Fun..

Once again, it was a busy weekend. I love being a football mom, but am a little anxious for a break! Friday night was the team barbeque and family movie night. Saturday morning we got up, got ready and headed to Preston's football game in Salt Lake, at least this was a 12:00 p.m. game!! The game started and we discovered that one of the ref's was my uncle Gary..YAY!! Well, we played Hillcrest and we won 48-0. We now have one game left to regular season and then it is the playoff's. After the game we went to Gardener Village to see the Halloween witches. We went with Carrie, Fuffy, Suzi, me, Wayne and all our boys. It was fun. They had a scavenger hunt to see if you could locate different witches and that was Jordan's favorite part because he got to do it with daddy! After that we went to my brother Shawn's house for pizza and cake for my dad's birthday. Shawn and his wife just built a new home in Draper and it is beautiful. The kids had lots of fun! It was a full day, by the time we got home they were all out!
As for me, I have a fun week ahead. I am planning a food drive for the elementary school and planning the Halloween party for Preston's class. It is coming quick!! Right now I am off to make dinner for the boy's!

Crazy Times

These past two weeks have been crazy at our house!! On October 4th we took Tyler in to the doctor after Preston's game and he had a double ear infection. On Thursday the 9th we took Jordan in to the doctor and he has a double ear infection. On Friday the 10th we took the baby in and he has an ear infection..GOOD TIMES!!
On Saturday morning as we were leaving for Preston's game in Sandy it was snowing like a blizzard in Toole...YUCK!! Tyler and Alex stayed with Aunt Carrie and Jordan was with my niece Fuffy (as we like to call her) and we went to Preston's game. They did so good. We played Alta and they had only lost 1 game so we were a little nervous. We scored the first touchdown and then Alta scored 2. It was halftime and we were a little worried, but then our little guys did awesome!! We ended up winning 25-21. It was a close game, but it put us in the playoffs! They are so excited. If they win their next two games the coaches have promised to throw them a party with bounce rooms and food, I am pretty sure that is their motivation at this point..LOL!!
Saturday night Wayne took Tyler and Preston swimming. Jordan wanted to stay home with me and put up halloween decorations. Jordan is my tag-a-long!
On Sunday we got home and took it easy. Wayne was going to stay home with the baby as he is still coughing and we are trying to keep in out of the cold, but just before I was getting ready to go teach class our neighbor came over and said that they cancelled the rest of church because someone had pulled the fire alarm! This is the 3rd time this has happened. Starting to think, it is not by accident!!
Tyler is getting ready to start his first day at his new preschool. He is going to be attending a preschool that will have a therapist work with him for his speech. He is not too excited except for the fact that the school bus will pick him up and bring him home. We will see how he does.

Daddy's Project

This is Wayne's latest project! He is building a playground for the kids. It is coming slow, but sure. He only gets two nights a week to work on it because of football practices, but when he does work on it he has his little helper Jordan right beside him. I don't know if you can tell in the picture, but Jordan has his own tool belt that he wears when he is helping daddy, it is too cute!
Jordan is a mini-me of his dad and it cracks me up!

On T.V.

Today at our elementary school, Settlement Canyon, Fox 13 was there with Big Buddah for the cool school of the week. The kids had to be there from 6:00 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. if they wanted to. So Jordan wanted to go because he wanted to see the guy from Howdy Town..LOL!! Preston decided it was too early so he stayed home.
Off to the school Jordan and I went at 5:50 a.m. We got there and got seated and the show got underway. They would just do a few segments here and there and then between segments they had activities and food for the kids.
Jordan got to meet Big Buddah and got his autograph. He was excited, at least as excited as Jordan shows. He was on t.v. twice and even though he didn't look very excited to be there he was so excited. He was a little nervous because of all the big kids there, but he had fun.
I had it recording at home and about 7:30 a.m. Jordan decided it was time to go. We came home and I played it for him and he got to see himself on t.v. He thought that was pretty cool. It was a lot of fun, but now I am ready for a serious nap..to bad the other kids won't cooperate with that..LOL!

Weekend

We had another fun and exciting weekend!! On Friday night Preston, Wayne, Jordan, and the baby went to a barbeque for the football team. The coaches had promised the boys the week before that if they could keep Bountiful at 0 points they would barbeque for them. We actually let them get 2 touchdowns, but the boys worked hard and still won the game so the coaches provided the barbeque anyway! They had a lot of fun and it was good for the team to be able to play and get to know each other. Saturday we headed into Salt Lake for the game, it was in Bountiful this time against Highland who had only lost 1 game. It was raining a little cold. Me and the little ones stayed in the van for a while and watched a movie. Tyler told me his ear hurt so I didn't want him in the cold too much. My sister and parents got there so we went out and watched the game for a bit and then my sister took Jordan and Tyler in her truck because they were cold and wet! Our team did AWESOME!! It was a fun game to watch, up until about the last 10 minutes maybe the score was 0-0 and then we scored! We won 6-0. Our little guys were so excited, they ran up and gave each other hugs and high fives! It was a fun game to watch, a very well matched game.
After the game Preston and Jordan went to my nieces and had a sleepover. Wayne and I took Tyler to the doctor and sure enough he has an infection in both ears. So we took him home gave him his medicine and just watched movies with him and took it easy. I feel bad for the poor little guy, hopefully it will clear up soon, but if he keeps going like this he will be in for tubes next.
I impressed Preston last night, Wayne was asking me the names of the NFL teams, he would give me the state and I would give him the rest of their name..and I named all but 2. Preston was so amazed..LOL!!

Drama..

It has been a few days since I have posted, but these past couple of days have been drama!! On Monday Preston came home from school and said that there was a boy from Jordan's kindergarten class that was hitting Preston with his backpack and trying to trip him and saying some pretty inappropriate things for a kindergartener. Well, on Tuesday I had to pick the kids up and I met them around the corner and the same kid and his sisters were going at it again with Preston and Jordan so I told them to stop it or I would call their parents. Well yesterday it happened again and the kindergartener was saying inappropriate things again so today I am going to talk to the principal and see if we can set up a meeting with their parents and us. One thing I cannot stand is bullying and even though the little boy is in kindergarten Wayne told Preston to shove him back because unless he stands up to the bullying they won't stop. It is hard for Preston since the boy is only in kindergarten, but he did and then the boy tried to go after Jordan, but Preston had him run up ahead. Some kids....makes me wonder what is going on at home to make them like this!! Sorry about the vent, just frustrated.
On a lighter note, Jordan made me laugh so hard today. We went grocery shopping and they saw the pumpkins at the store. I told them we would go to the pumpkin patch and get ours. Then Jordan wanted to know if we could plant pumpkins in our garden next year. I said yes and then he went on about what he wanted in the garden including HOT DOGS..LOL!! A couple of weeks ago we stayed at my parents and grandpa, being funny, told Jordan that he could plant hot dogs in the garden..well Jordan doesn't forget a thing and so he thinks we are going to plant hot dogs, what a silly kid!

Weekend

It has been another fun-filled weekend! On Friday after kids were in school I had a ton of work I had to get done..so I began typing. Tyler was playing and being a silly boy and he came running up to me yelling mom and when I turned around I found him in this new hat.. It cracked me up!

Friday after school Preston's friend Thomas came over at about 4:30 p.m. and he told me he could stay until 9:00 p.m. and he did! He ate with us and when it got dark Wayne and I went out and played ghost in the graveyard with them. It was a blast. After he went home we got everyone settled in bed.
Saturday morning we had to be in Salt Lake at 11:00 a.m. for Preston's football game. They played Bountiful and beat them..YEAH TOOELE!! They played awesome. It was almost a shut-out, but Bountiful had two pass plays that they scored on. Preston did awesome. He got knocked down a couple of times by some big players, but got right back up and into it. We are so proud of him. Tyler and Jordan went home with Aunt Carrie after the game so we took Preston around with us. We went home and we went to the pet store to show him and Wayne the little gecko that I want to get for the boys. It is so cute! Then we ran a few more places. We got home and he went to Thomas's house while we got dinner ready. The baby was getting tired so I had Wayne put him in the new pajamas that I picked out..I have to make one of them a 49ers fan!!

It was a fun and busy weekend. Wayne stayed home because he wasn't feeling too well so me and Tyler walked Jordan to school, then we came home and went to the store (Alex stayed with daddy) and then I decided I had some time with just Tyler so we went to the pet store to look and he held a rabbit, he wouldn't touch the snake or the lizard. Then we stopped at the Sweet Pea Boutique to take a look and he got a Home Depot truck and hasn't put it down. We came home and had lunch. Preston and Jordan came home and then Preston's friend Thomas came over to play. They were all downstairs playing legos and I was typing when Tyler came up and layed on the floor by my chair and then I looked down and he was sound asleep, bless his little heart! Couldn't resist taking the picture and posting it!

Vent..

I just have to vent about our neighbor's dogs. They drive me crazy. They have like 5 or 6 little "yapper" dogs as we call them and they are mean. Two got out yesterday, one was in our backyard and the other one was going back and forth. The kids went out in the front and the little dog literally chased them up to our door. I called animal control to come get them, but they were already closed and suggested I call dispatch and an officer would come and get them, but just as I was about to do that the boy that lives there came home. He got the one out of the backyard and put the other one back in their yard. He left and the dog out again, but he was coming down the sidewalk so I told him to put the dog away. When the woman that lives there got home I was there to greet her and told her about the dogs getting out and scaring the kids. She said she would fix any holes they were digging..we will see.
Preston was so worried when I went out, he kept saying mom he will bite you. I said let it bite me then I will have a great reason to call dispatch..LOL! I don't mind people having dogs, but there is a point to having too many especially when they are not so nice and there is a neighborhood full of children.
Well sorry but I just had to vent!

Weekend..

It has been a few days since I posted..it has been a crazy weekend! Preston had a football game on Saturday and bless their little hearts they tried their hardest, but still lost. Apparently though they played one of the toughest teams, nobody has scored on them and we held them at 21. The other team's coaches said we were a tough team to play...so YEAH BUFFALOES!! They put Preston on the line and he did so good. He was getting right up in the action and loves playing this position!! After the game my neice and her family came out. Wayne and Corey got up and fixed shingles on the roof before winter hits..bad thing about Tooele our wind storms take a lot of shingles with them!! Sunday was kind of a lazy day, Wayne was not feeling too hot and the baby andI have had this cold and now we have started in with the coughing, so we got a substitute for primary and stayed home and relaxed. Yesterday I spent my time at PTA meeting, working, trying to some cleaning done and working on 27 boxes that I have to put together for the school classrooms..I have 9 more to go! That has been the fun at our house, nothing too overly excited, but always some sort-of excitement.

New Page

So I decided to change up the page a little. Tyler actually stayed home from preschool, but he is feeling much better now. I go and volunteer in Jordan's kindergarten class and Aunt Carrie comes out with Tyler and Alex. Yesterday she pooped them out..LOL!! They went to the park twice and then she took them all to get slurpees. After she left Tyler was watching a movie and he got quiet so I went to check on him and I found him asleep in the rocking chair, talk about being tired.. he looks so uncomfortable!

Finally..

Everybody is starting to feel better..YEAH!! Yesterday Jordan, Tyler, Alex and myself took Wayne is wallet that he had left at home. They are in the process of hiring a new office person and one of the ladies was there "shadowing" Wayne to see if she would like the job. Her name is Crystal and she was having a field day with the kids. Jordan was chatting it up because he told her about his lego police garage and she asked if her husband could come and park his patrol car in it. He giggled and said yes, we live around the block from the school..LOL!! He was cracking her up. Tyler was being shy and didn't say much and Alex was all smiles!
Before we left Tyler went over the candy machine and somehow shook loose a few of those chewy red hots. I told him he wouldn't like them, but he insisted on trying them so in he pops one! Pretty soon he gets this weird look on his face and spits it in his hand and says I don't like..LOL!! Kids, maybe one day they will listen to me.

Police Garage..

This afternoon Jordan spent a good part down in his room playing with legos. I thought maybe he had fallen asleep down there, but then he came up all excited about what he had made. The following is a picture of the police garage and the police truck that Jordan made. If you look close in the picture you can see a little chair and that little chair he informed me is for the bad people..LOL!! We had a football game on Saturday morning (we lost) and then we took the kids to the train museum. They had fun but Tyler was a little grumpy and not feeling well. He had been up a lot the night before so I decided after lunch to take him down to the doctor.
We went out to eat with grandma and grandpa to the Chinese restaurant, the kids wanted shrimp again!! While we were there Tyler decided that his crackers should not be restrained to only his soup and proceeded to crumble them up and add them to his rootbeer..YUCK, which he still drank, sick little boy!!
So after lunch we went down to the doctor and discovered that he in fact has an ear infection. We went and filled his prescription, brought him home, got him comfortable and got out the amoxicillin. He started to say no and then we gave it to him and after he was done, he asked for more. I told him he had to wait for his second dose so he then licked the outside of the medicine dropper because it had a little bit left on it! He cracks me up even when he doesn't feel good.
This morning we got up and decided to keep him home from church so Wayne got ready (he was going to teach class) and went over and then came right back. Apparently it is stake conference today so there was no church..LOL!!
Anyway we are just hanging out and letting Tyler get better so nothing too exciting is happening.

I didn't get this posted yesterday because we have a house of sickies!! Tyler, Alex, and myself are feeling icky, but I wanted to get it up before I forget (and that happens alot..LOL). Anyway, yesterday was lunch with your teddy bear day at preschool. So Tyler and I packed him a lunch, picked out a teddy bear and with the help of his brothers gave the bear the name of Brownie. He took the bear and lunch to school and they got to eat outside with their bears and then they made these little bear hats (he is wearing his in the picture) and a bear puppet!
When I first dropped him off he cried and cried and that is the first time he has cried since starting. I think part of it is the fact he wasn't feeling himself all the way, but Ms. Brooke said he calmed down quickly and had a lot of fun. If I haven't already said it, I LOVE this preschool. They do so many cute things with the kids and the teachers are all great!
Today I am taking Tyler to the Early Learning Center to have his speech tested to see if he needs to be in a class with a speech therapist. He has a hard time figuring out where to put his tongue when he talks and it is hard to understand him. So if he does get into this school I think I will still keep him in the other preschool too because he loves it there and I love them there..LOL! Hope y'all have a great day!

Mini Me...

I took the following picture last night of Wayne and Alex and could not resist posting it. Today is Tuesday and I volunteer in Jordan's kindergarten class. My sister..the favorite Aunt Carrie..comes out and watches Tyler and Alex while I am gone (she is a lifesaver)!! Today she brought along her baby saucer to put Alex in to see if he liked it. We put him in it and he screamed, did not go for that at all yet.
Well next thing we know Tyler wants to get in and he won't let up when I tell him he is too big so I put him in. He managed to get his legs arranged so that he could sit all the way down. He had a good time in it, it was too funny! The following is a picture of my silly 3-year-old Tyler in the baby saucer. Enjoy.

Dinner...

Tonight for dinner I came up with a very creative idea..FRIED MOUSE anyone???

So as you probably know it isn't really a fried mouse. Jordan and Preston wanted shrimp tonight; therefore, I made shrimp and this little shrimp happened to turn out looking like a little fried mouse!! We had spent the night at my parents in Salt Lake because Preston had an early football game in Riverton. We had a blast at grandma and grandpa's and the kids loved sleeping over. Come morning time we got everyone up and Jordan just started crying that his ear hurt, so Wayne took Preston to his game and grandma and grandpa took Tyler to the game. I gathered up the baby and Jordan and headed for home. We had just gotten off the exit to Tooele and Jordan kept saying I want to be home now and I told him I was hurrying and then all of a sudden he threw up in the van. For those of you who know me, I DO NOT do well with throw-up, but at least he managed to get it in the blanket that was on the floor. I felt so bad for my poor little guy. He just layed on the couch the rest of the afternoon.
I kept checking in with my neice, Fuffy, and Wayne on the game. Our poor little team lost this week, but from what I was hearing the Riverton team was playing dirty. One of the Riverton players grabbed Preston by the facemask, which is a no-no, and shoved him to the ground and Preston wasn't even by the ball! They sent one of our players out for trash talking and all he told the kid on the other team was to shut up because the Riverton kid was trash talking, but they never called anything on Riverton...mmm sounds like a conspiracy to me..LOL!
They finally got home and Wayne my hero took care of the van for me!! They were all resting and Tyler kept telling me, "I want to hold it," that is code for wanting to hold Alex. So I picked up the baby and let Tyler hold him, thus the following picture..

We were going to work on the swingset some more today, but those plans sort-of got put on hold due to the kiddies being sick. Jordan perked up at about 6:30 p.m. and wanted French toast, but they had used all the bread at lunch so then he wanted to make bread with daddy, but we talked him into waiting because I was in the middle of getting dinner started. Then he ate fruit roll-ups and popcorn..I think he is feeling better. His ear does still hurt so he will probably have to go to the doctor on Monday. I was hoping it wasn't an ear infection, but I am guessing it might be. It has gotten any worse, but it hasn't gotten any better =-(
So our weekend was not too fun-filled, but there is always an adventure at our house!

So this morning I was trying to get some cleaning done before the weekend and I had the music turned up and the boys were in watching a movie. The song Bleeding Love came on and Tyler came running in yelling our song, our song and then Jordan joined him and they started dancing like little dancing fools, it was too cute. I had them stop and took a picture of them, so the following picture is during the time Jordan and Tyler were dancing around. When those two get along they crack me up!! The other pictures are just pictures I added for fun, they were not part of the dance concert this morning, just the first one..LOL!!

So while I have a few spare moments before going back to typing I thought I would post a couple more pictures. The first one is Tyler on his first day of preschool. The second is Jordan on his first day of kindergarten and the third is Preston holding Alex ( Preston was out the door to school before I could get a picture..LOL)! The one of Preston and Alex is one of my favorite. That is the day Alex was especially fussy and Preston came in and took him in the living room. He came back five minutes later with a very asleep little baby. Preston will even change the wet diapers without being asked..he loves taking care of Alex. I am so proud of Preston and the young man he is becoming. He has moments, but all in all he is a GREAT kid! I love him to pieces!!

King of Manners..

Today was Tyler's second day at preschool and he is loving it!! I had never heard this song before the day that I had this experience and now it comforts me on the days that are hard.
In March of this year I had received a call (on a Monday) from Wayne's best friend Andy, who lives in Idaho and was married to my best friend Michelle, telling us that they had lifeflighted Michelle to the hospital and she was not doing well at all. The night before she was feeling ill and had lost consciousness and Andy had to do CPR until the paramedics arrived. I can't explain how I felt when he told me. I was devastated. She is my best friend and we have been through a lot together. I kept praying and praying that she would wake-up for the sake of her two little boys.
On Tuesday morning I was on my way home from taking Jordan to preschool and I heard this song come on. I just started to cry because I knew at that moment she was trying to tell me that she was not going to come back to us. We went up to Idaho on Wednesday and when I walked into the hospital room I just hugged her mom and started crying. My parents and my husband were with me and we were telling some Michelle and Lisa stories and it looked like she was crying. They told us that was just a recation to the fever, but I think she was crying from laughing inside!! Her family left for a little while and I was able to say good-bye to my Michelle. I would have stayed there all night, but I had to get something to eat as I was pregnant at the time. We left about 8:30 p.m. or so. She died after we left. At the funeral in his talk her husband said that she had waited until I could get there and say good-bye. Up to this point in my life that has been one of the hardest things I have had to go through. I lost my grandpa three years ago, but he was having health problems and it was expected a little (still hurt a lot), but Michelle would have been 31 this year and it was totally unexpected so it made it a little harder. I felt sort of cheated that I didn't get more time and that she wouldn't be here to see my last little boy born, although I believe they have met. The one thing that comforts me is the fact that I was told in a blessing that I would have guardian angels watching over me, I just never thought that one of them would be my very best friend but I am glad that it is.
There are days when it still hurts (like the other night when I was watching Michelle and Romy's High School Reunion) and I just have this empty feeling like there is a big hole in my soul and that is when this song comforts me. I know that she is no more pain and she is happy, but I still miss her.
Thought I would just share a little background into my number one song.

Tyler..

Started preschool today and he did so good. The kids wanted to sleep out again, but they wanted to put the tent up in the front yard and wanted to mom to sleep out with them this time. Well, it started to rain really hard and then we started getting lightening and thunder storms so we decided to postpone our sleep out. But then daddy had a great idea!! We have an army tent that is a little smaller and only fits about three people, and he put that up in the living room and me, Preston, and Jordan were in the tent. Tyler slept in his sleeping bag by daddy outside of the tent. At some point during the night, Tyler came in the tent with us and needless to say I ended up squished at the bottom of the tent. I lasted until about 4:30, but then I couldn't take anymore and climbed over all the kids to get out! It was fun, but I am not as young as I used to be!

Saturday Adventures

So our little Tooele Gremlins had their actual first season football game yesterday (apparently the week before was just a pre-season game). They were all so excited. We played in Toole against the Jordan Gremlin White team and we WON!! Those boys worked so hard and played an exceptional game! We ended up winning 38-0. I felt bad for this little guy on the other team. He was tiny and they kept giving him the ball because he is quick, but I thought he was going to get squashed by our team. We have some good sized kids on the team!
It was so fun to see how excited they would get and how into the game they get. I am finally understanding the game and the positions and that is because I went to the library and checked out a book (from the childrens section..LOL!!) on football. It explains the positions and where they stand on the field, etc. Wayne and the boys were laughing at me a little, but hey it helped!
Anyway, this week at the game we had two giant banners that we held after halftime was over and we had the boys run through and break them. They thought that was the coolest thing ever!
And wow, I never realized how much football stuff was out there. It is supposed to start getting a little colder so I went to Salt Lake yesterday to find Preston some football gloves, under armor clothing, which is suppose to help keep them warm, arm pads, and a new chin strap thingy..I don't think I will ever get used to all the equipment and clothing. I only found the gloves and chin strap..we are going to have to order the other stuff online. I discovered that the sports stores do not carry a lot of youth stuff..makes no sense since they can play tackle, but hey I guess I am just weird! Oh, well at least the ride to Salt Lake was entertaining. I took Tyler and the baby with me and the whole way Tyler was trying to sing the songs on the CD that we were listening to...he was cracking me up! Then we went and looked around the Children's Place and Carter for clothes and he kept picking out these little girls clothes and saying cute. I finally told him that the pink pants were cute, but they were for girls (because he kept holding them up to himself) and so then he brought them over to me and held them up to me. I said mom is too big for those..LOL!! He is a silly little boy.
Last night we took the boys to see the movie Wall E at the drive-in movie. It was fun. We put all the seats down in the van, loaded it with blankets and pillows. They fell asleep just before the second movie started. They were so asleep that Wayne decided to that he would stay out in the van with them and have a sleep out..I went inside with the baby, I wasn't sleeping in the uncomfortable van, but this morning when they came in they were totally excited and thought that was the greatest thing!
So all in all they had a busy but fun day!!

Tyler's Obession..

Has not subsided any. He is still obsessed with potato bugs. We have to leave an extra 5 minutes early to take Jordan to school and to pick him up because as we walk along the sidewalk Tyler has to try and find the potato bugs. He found one this morning and he was so excited he kept screaming potato bug. It made the crossing guard laugh! We have a neighbor down the street who is like the neighborhood grandma to the kids and Jordan loves going to Marjorie's house to play. He told me the other day he was going over and then he came home all disturbed because Marjorie had company over and couldn't play. He makes me laugh!
This morning we had just gotten Preston off to school and the little ones were finishing their breakfast when the doorbell rang and Jordan ran to the door to see Marjorie there. He was so excited..no kidding I thought he was going to pee his pants he was so excited. She had some over to see if I wanted to order any Scentsy candles. She had brought two boxes with samples to smell. The kids were in heaven. They were smelling all of them and then Jordan helped decide on some to get. He kept going back to one called Thunderstorm. It really doesn't have much of a smell, but he was so excited he found it that I had to get it, what a pushover I am..LOL!!
Anyway, it made his day that she came over!

It has been..

A couple of days since I have posted anything, but with school starting it has been a little quiet around my house. Preston goes to school in the morning and me, Jordan, and Tyler get things done around the house, read stories, play, or make cookies and then we take Jordan to kindergarten. I actually get the house picked up and some typing done before we have to go pick Jordan up. We wait for him to come out and then it is quite cute, Tyler will find him and take hold of his hand and they will walk home that way.. it is cute!! I let Preston walk with his friends since he is getting to that age.
Last night Jordan went over to our neighbor's and good friends Brett and M.J's to tell M.J all about school and the gym day that they had, he is such a goofball.
Tonight we are going to the ribbon cutting ceremony for the school and then to back to school night. We already know Jordan's teacher (and he wants to take her a Diet Coke..LOL!!), and we will get to meet Preston's teacher and tell him all kinds-of horror stories about Preston...well, too bad we don't have any, he really is a good kid especially at school. Preston is getting ready for his second football game this weekend and is pretty excited about that.
So needless to say, the last couple of days have been quiet, which is nice at times, although last night we did go to the library and Jordan and Tyler must have picked out 15 books and wanted me to read them all last night..LOL!!

Excited..

Jordan was so excited this morning! He woke up at 7:15 a.m. and told me, mom today is my first day of school!! Then all morning and early afternoon he kept asking when kindergarten was. I had to keep telling him in a little while.
We tried to kill time by going to Tyler's preschool to meet his teachers and show him his class and then we went grocery shopping. We came home and Jordan wanted to work in his homework book, so we did a few pages. By then it was time to eat lunch and then at 11:30 a.m. I had him start getting ready. We got him all ready and took pictures and then daddy came home so that he could walk with us for the first day!!
I think that daddy was more excited than Jordan. This has been the first time that daddy has had the chance to participate in taking the first day. It was cute. I stayed outside with the little ones and daddy and Jordan went into the class.
We came home and daddy went back to work (so nice having him work close to home)!! Me and Tyler just got done making some cookies for the boys in school and now it is time to work, although I am not in the mood..LOL!! I am too anxious for it to be 3:10 p.m.
I will admit I cried a little. It doesn't seem to get any better when you send your child off to kindergarten. I can't believe they are growing up so fast. Tyler starts preschool next week and that will be crazy.
The one upside to having two in school is the quiet at the house, no fighting today..YEAH!!

Kindergarten..

Kick-off was today. Jordan was so excited, but a little scared. He went and found his seat at his table and sat there quietly. Then they got to go outside to the kindergarten playground and play, which was fun for them, but a pain for me as I had Tyler with me and he started screaming when they had to come in! He was very loud today. Wayne couldn't make it so I had them all by myself...an adventure wherever we go..LOL!! They got to tour the school (Tyler is still crying a little) and then we went back to class. They learned the rules and then they got to go sit on the teacher's rainbow rug and listen to a story. Jordan was being so good and Tyler was sitting behind him trying to pull his hair and tackle him. I think Jordan will be happy tomorrow when school starts and he gets a break from Tyler..LOL! Before I take Jordan to Kindergarten tomorrow I get to take Tyler to meet his preschool teacher's, bless their hearts!! Tyler is way different from Jordan and they will have their hands full!! So tomorrow at around 12:10 p.m. I will be crying because I am sending another one to school..makes me happy =-), but also a little sad =-( !! I am such a crybaby when it comes to that!

Go Buffaloe's...

Yeah..we won our first football game. He has his moments, but what child doesn't but overall he is a wonderful child!

Alex..

Rolled over onto his tummy this morning..YEAH!! They had two wagons out pulling each other around and decided they wanted to hook them together. Jordan came over looking for some string, but we could not find any strong enough to hold them together so he ran in the house and came out with some scotch tape...LOL.. and decided they could tape them together. He was so excited about his little idea that who was I to stop him. I was giggling as they were trying to tape these wagons together. He just came over and said mom they won't stay. I explained the tape was not strong enough and that we would have to check with daddy to see if he had something stronger. He is creative to say the least.

Prepared...

Wayne and I teach the CTR 7 class in primary and we have a very energetic class!! So this week we prepared this great lesson, got to church a little late (as usual), went in and got our room set up, which was weird that the ward before us wasn't occupying the room as they usually do, but we set up and went out in the foyer to wait for sacrament to end. We were sitting there when our primary chorister came out and we were talking and then she told us that we were only having sacrament. Apparenlty, they had the hardwood floors cleaned and the smell was so strong they didn't want anyone getting sick, so we weren't having classes. The one week we have a lesson ready, before Sunday morning, and we don't have class..LOL!! I was trying to find something to wear for a birthday party we are going to tonight and nothing wants to fit, so I guess that it is time for me to get off of my lazy butt and do something about it. I figured with school starting on the 21st, I can start working out again since it will mostly just be the baby at home, Tyler will have preschool some of the week. I bought one of those stabilizer exercise balls just before I found out I was pregnant with Alex (I decided I should not experiment with that type of exercise while pregnant..LOL!!) so I guess I will give it a try and along with my pilates DVD and weight watcher's I should be able to loose some pounds..YEAH!! I have always loved to watch the game, but never really knew the positions and last night after practice Preston came home to tell me that they had him playing blocker last night. I was like, okay and he had to explain that was the guy who guarded the player with the ball and keeps the opposing team out of their way! I think I may have to shut my eyes a lot at the games..LOL! He is getting so big I can't believe it. He is becoming quite the little athlete.
He is a little nervous about tonight's practice, they are doing a scrimmage game against a team from Stansbury and the coach was in charge of Preston' s football camp and took his team to state championships last year, I explained to him that tonight's game was all in fun just to get the practice. They have their very first pre-season game next Saturday against the Jordan gremlins..I may be a little worried about that game the players from the West Jordan area are a little bigger than our guys, but we have a great team and all in all I am enjoying being a football mom!!

My Jordan...

Cracks me up. This morning about 11:00 a.m. he decided he wanted to make pancakes, so we got out all the ingriedejnts and he helped put everything in (he loves to help cook) and while I was flipping them in the pan, he proceeded to inform me that daddy makes better pancakes because he cooks them on the inside grill (he meant gridle) and I make them on the stove!! Then he decided it was time for knock, knock jokes and asked me why the chicken crossed the road and when I asked why he told me to get to school. My parents came out for the 4th of July and Tyler was playing with a potato bug and did not want to put it down so grandma told him to put it in his pocket and bring it with him, but mommy stopped him!Tyler has an obession with potato bugs, in fact he thinks all bugs are potato bugs! Well apparently he remembered what grandma had told him because today they wanted to go swimming so I had them come in to get their suits on and he kept telling me potato bug, I wasn't getting what he was trying to tell me and then he pointed to his pants. I carefully opened his pocket, afraid that what might be in there wouldn't be an actual potato bug, and lo and behold there was this poor little potato bug curled up in a ball!! I guess Tyler did not want to put him down so he put him in his pocket..Thanks mom for that one!! We went to get lunch today and on the way home, we were talking about one of Preston's friends and I accidentally said his name wrong. Where does a 5-year-old come up with the word brilliant?? So after laughing about that, they all broke out in song and were singing the song Stop and Stare (not sure if that is the correct title), but it was HILARIOUS to listen to them. It is a good thing Jordan found it fun or Tyler would have had the wrath of Jordan upon him. I guess the saying, you know if boys are covered in mud and dirt they have had a good day, certainly applies to us today!

About Our Family..

To begin with, for those of you who don't know us, we are Wayne, Lisa, Preston, Jordan, Tyler, and Alex Berry.

Wayne (Dad) is a wonderful husband and father. He loves spending time outdoors with his kids and loves cars and working with his hands. He is currently in the process of putting together a swingset for the kids. He is also involved with Preston's football team and is an assistant coach and LOVING IT, although at times he comes home more tired than Preston..LOL!! He takes very good care of his family.

Lisa (Mom) is a work-at-home mom. I do medical transcribing and take care of my four monkies!! I enjoy camping, hiking, scrapbooking, golfing, and reading. I just recently finished the Twlight Series and know I don't know what to do with myself..LOL!! I love being with my family and watching them grow.

Preston is our 8-year-old. He is a great big brother and a soft-hearted person. He loves to help whereever he can and loves being with his dad. He plays football, just started tackle this year and basketball. He is a very athletic person and does well at both sports. He is a great reader and a very smart boy. He recently finished The Three Muskeeters and loved it. He is now reading Moby Dick. He loves playing Playstation and being with his friends. He has to be surrounded by friends constantly or thinks he is bored! He also loves swimming. He is a great help with his brothers and a magnet for the younger kids, they all love him! Preston is also great at drawing. He loves to draw.

Jordan is our 5-year-old. He is more on the shy and quiet side. He is content to play by himself and entertains himself well. He loves legos and taking things apart with screwdrivers! His daddy has to hide all the screwdrivers. He also loves trains and anything to do with being a fireman. He has informed us he is going to be a fireman when he grows up and park the fire truck at our house..LOL!! He has quite the imagination and when he gets to know someone you would never know he was the quiet one. He can be very talkative and has always spoken very well. He will be starting kindergarten and is so excited. He played soccer and in spring is going to play baseball. He also loves to ride his scooter and gets going so fast on it, it scares mom!!

Tyler is our 3-year-old and I would say the most stubborn of them. He always has a mischievous look in his eyes and is always looking for trouble! He can find dirt within a 10-mile radius it seems. He loves trucks, cars, and anything his brothers have. He will be starting preschool this year. He is absolutely obsessed with scooby-doo and I blame this on daddy! He tends to be a mommy's boy. He loves to read books, he will bring about 10 at a time and he always manages to pick the big ones! He loves to play or I should say torment his brothers. He loves playing with the football and basketball. He likes to color and is always carrying a notebook around with him, I am thinking he will go into journalism!

Alex is 3-months-old and doesn't do too much yet. He is a very happy baby and loves to smile and talk. He loves watching his brothers and you can tell he just wants to get down and run with them! He is trying to pull himself up to a sitting position when he is laying down or in his swing. He is very strong for 3-months!

That is a little about our family and although I am surrounded by boys all day long I couldn't ask for a more loving and fun family. They are my heart and my soul. I would do anything for these little monkies even when they are acting like monkies..LOL!!
